virginia's StoryI got this recipe from Food.com. I was looking for something different to add to a family get together. This makes a big amount but it's heavely and the longer it stays in the fridge the better it taste. This is one dish I'm asked over and over to bring.
fresh green seedless grapes
fresh red seedless grapes
cream cheese, softened
1Wash and stem grapes. Set aside.
2Mix sour cream, cream cheese, white sugar and vanilla by hand until blended.
3Stir grapes into mixture, and pour in large serving bowl.
4TOPPING: Combine brown sugar, and crushed pecans. Sprinkle over top of grapes to cover comletely. Chill overnight.
5Some people leave the topping off. This makes it less sweet, but it is wonderful with it and the longer it sets the more the brown sugar and nuts melt down through it. Also you can make the topping and set it aside and let guests add the topping to each helping as they dish it up.

you mention sour cream in the write up, but none in the ingredients. Please clarify.

Sorry I placed a couple of recipes before I dashed out to do something and didn't proof read them well enough. It's 8 ounces of sour cream and I'll edit my recipe. Thanks
