Ingredients For russ's salmon spread

  • 1 can salmon
  • 2 pkg. unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 C. cold water
  • 1 C. boiling water
  • 2 C. sour cream
  • 3/4 C. Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 Tbs. lemon juice
  • 1/2 C. onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. dill

How To Make russ's salmon spread

  • 1
    Pour cold water into large mixing bowl. Sprinkle gelatin over cold water; let stand for 1 minute. Add boiling water and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved. With wire whisk, blend in sour cream, dressing, and lemon juice. Stir in salmon, onion, and dill. Turn into 6-cup mold or bowl and chill until firm.
