I got this receipe from my Daughter's grandmother. It is absolutely incredible.

Notes from the Test Kitchen:
This is a very moist cake!  If I close my eyes while eating it, the aroma almost makes me feel as though I'm eating fresh strawberries.  There's no better endorsement than that!

1 box
white cake mix
1 box
strawberry jello mix (small box)
1 c
1/2 c
1 c
mashed sweetened strawberries (not drained)

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix all ingredients together and pour in a 9x11 inch pan or you can layer in 2 smaller pans. Do not fill to the top or batter will bake up to tall.
Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
FROSTING: 1 pound box of powdered sugar. 1 stick of butter softened. 1/2 cup of mashed strawberries drained. Very important that they are drained. If to thick keep adding strawberries until it is the right consistency.

My daughter loves strawberries so I'm gonna surprise her this weekend with this cake will let you know how it turns out can't wait to see her reaction...

This cake is fantastic! I made a few alterations though, I use 1/2 cup oil instead of 1 cup, and about 3/4 of the box of jello in the mix and I add a few teaspoons of jello powder to the frosting. A block of cream cheese in the frosting doesn't hurt either. My family loves this cake!
