This is done on the type of material that laundry bags are made of then you just follow the pattern and tie the ends. Am working on hand writing the pages of instructions and will attach the actual pattern soon (having trouble with scanner so will up load pattern pages then.)

General instructions NOTE: Lace consists of holes and meshes. (each solid area between the holes is a mesh)
  • 3
To prepare lace for weaving: Trim top and bottom of afghan so it is even. Flod ends of lace back so that 420 holres and meshes are across top and 465 holes and meshes are a long side. Stitch through mesh at edge as in fig 1 to insure holes are aligned Afghan is made by weaving precut single strands of yarn through the holes going across the quilt in a row. Cut yarn in 60 inch (152 cm) pieces Cut 60 pieces of tan (Color 1) cut 165 pieces of peach (Color 2) cut 50 pieces of Rust (Color 3) cut 132 pieces of lt green (Color 4) Cut 58 pieces of dk green (color 5)

Weaving instructions: The weaving process will draw up the lace so the finished afghan will be slightly smaller than the lace. Tension is very important. Do not pull too tight or your afghan will not lie flat. Always hold previous stitches, the ones before the row you are on, so they can't be pulled.
