I have always wanted to make me a crochet blanket. I just never found the right pattern I wanted to use. I have always loved the color PINK. More so since four years ago I found a "Lump". I have been lucky to have gotten a all clear with every scan I have done so far. So this blanket & color means alot more then most people could ever know. I finished it today ago. I also do plan to make another blanket for me using another pattern.

How To Make triple shade of pink blanket

Frist make a simple chain about 2 1/2 feet long. Make sure to keep count for 11 loops for each "wave" pattern with the frist color. I chose watermelon pink to be frist.

Next chain up 3 times still using the watermelon pink. Skip 2 loops. then double crochet to the count of 7. Then double crochet 3 times in the next loop. Then double crochet down for the count of 7. Then your gonna down crochet. To down crochet you double crchet but make sure to keep 2 loops on hook, go into next loop double crochet make sure to still keep 2 loops on the hook & then double crochet int eh next loop. Pull thru 2 loops & then grab & pull thru the last 3 loops. I made 4 rows of each color of pink.

Then make 2 rows using the same wave pattern in the white color. I did 4 rows of each color of pink with 2 rows of white to break up the pink.
