Vicki's Notes:

We have a couple of bird feeders and always a couple of squirrels come around and eat most of the seed.

I found a simple solution so the squirrel gets a big surprise next time he wants to eat bird seed!!

Directions

1
Dump some cayenne pepper in your bird seed and shake it up before you fill your feeders - if you don't want the squirrels to eat it.

The birds won't be able to taste the spice -and won't bother them. But the Squirrel will take one bite and not want it anymore!

We did this, and watched when the squirrel came around, and it worked.
2
We put other things out for the squirrel in the winter months. but the seed is for the birds.

I will try this. I usually use Squirrel Rid but could not find it when I bought more seed the other day.
