Combine baking soda and cornstarch in a large sausepan add water and food coloring if used, and mix.

Bring to boil, stirring constantly,until about the consistency of mashed potatoes. (Let an adult do the stirring.)

Cool before using. Keep in baggie or wrap in plastic wrap.

this is a great recipe ,when my children were younger we made all kinds of things with this,I had lost the recipe years ago. Now I can make it for my grandchildren, thanks for posting it :]
