When I was young my mother used a lot of husk and vicks for us when we were hurt or sick. My dad insisted on his mothers recipe for bites, infections or splinters. This is that recipe.

  • 1-3 Tbsp
    milk, warmed

How To Make marie"s (my mom)drawing salve for my dad (jack).

    On a saucer pour warmed milk over a piece of bread and lay on the wound. don't get to soggy. Allow to dry 1/2 hours and remove. repeat if nessary.
