Herb and pine:
Place 1 cup of dried Rosemary and 1 cup of dried fragrant pine needles in an open box or paper bag. Place the lid on the box or close bag, and shake gently to mix the ingredients. Fill sachets or small pillows, or mound of the potpourri in a decorative bowl as soon as possible.

Simmering potpourri:
cut the peel of one orange and one lemon into slivers. Combined appeals, five cinnamon sticks, and five whole cloves in a saucepan. Add water or cider until pan is almost bowl. Put the pan over high heat and bring the mixture to boiling. Then lower the heat and let the mixture simmer. Add additional water or cider as needed. The cider can be served directly from the pan as a warming drink.
