Lynn's Story

I got this recipe from petdiabetes.com/recipes.html. I haven't tried it yet. I have no experience w/diabetic dogs. I just looked this up because someone was looking for treats for their diabetic dog.

Ingredients

1 lb
calf liver
1/4 c
whole wheat flour
1
egg

Directions Step-By-Step

1
1 pound calf liver blended in food processor with 1/4 cup whole wheat flour and one egg
2
Spread on cookie sheet and cooked at 350
for 15 minutes
3
Cool and cut with pizza cutter.
Store in refrigerator. I've made other liver brownie treats and they froze nicely. I do not know if freezing would make any difference when feeding this to a diabetic dog. Please see the Notes section above to see the site I got this recipe from.
