This recipe is for my friend Bobbi Auttonberry here @ Just A Pinch, it is a recipe that she can make for her dog. Now that I have converted her husband to like Fried Cabbage Mama's Way, & Mama's Buttermilk Cornbread, the dog doesn't get left over corn bread any more. So here is a recipe for the dogs. My dog Diamond loves them & I hope yours will too. This recipe makes a lot, so you may want to cut it in half the first time you make them, just to make sure. I do not use my dog bone cookie cutter anymore, I just roll them out by hand. When I have a few minutes to spare I like making these.

This recipe is also in my cookbook, and I have made it quite a few times when ever I have the time.

Please note: If you have a small dog and make the bones smaller, you may be able to get 48 pieces. But my dog is larger, so I made the bones accordingly, and I got 28 pieces, and she loves them.
