Ingredients

1 lb carob chips
1/3 c peanut butter
1/4 c cheddar cheese, shredded
2-3 Tbsp real bacon bits

Melissa's Notes:

I make these for my dog all the time. She loves them. I came up with it so she can have "chocolate" when we do. All dogs love them.

 

Directions

Place medium saucepan over low heat. Add chips. Stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter to conbine. Add cheese and bacon. Stir well. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper. Let cool to set. Refrigerate.

Can't wait to try this on my sweetie "Hope"..I take care of her Monday through Friday for a friend of mine. I know Chocolate is toxic for dogs....Does anyone know about Carob???

That's why I use carob. You can these also I just don't think they taste good!Thank you for the positive input. Let me know if they love them as much as my pooch does. I make them for Christmas for for friends and family pets.
