Jackie's notes for this recipe:
I've been using this for a while now and am so excited about it. My skin has never been so soft. No more expensive lotions etc. This is the best so far. I hope you like it too.
*Please note that I have revised the original recipe because I had mistakenly put the wrong amount of olive oil. This is the correct recipe now. Sorry if you made the original. Just add 2 more tablespoons of the oil and it will be just fine.*

Directions

1
In a medium sized bowl combine the two sugars. Add the olive oil and stir together. Add the vanilla to the sugars and oil, stirring to combine well.
2
Divide into smaller containers that will be safe to bring into the shower-not glass-and with a lid to keep the water out.
3
To use, put a small amount-approximately a teaspoon for the face and more for larger areas of the body, into your hands and simply rub into skin until sugars dissolve. Do this while you are in the shower. Rinse off the excess granules. Be careful as the oil can make the floor slippery. You will have such nice soft skin when you dry off!

Hi Shelley. So glad you like the sound of it. I just looked at what I typed last night when I posted the recipe and for some reason I put 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Actually it should be 1/4 cup. I am truly sorry I made such a goof. I know it will still work but I think you will like it more with the extra oil. I'm revising the recipe right now. The only thing I can think of is that I posted it during a bout of insomnia at about 2:00am and didn't catch my mistake. I hope you enjoy it.

By the way, is that a picture of Bronner's in Frankenmueth? I love that place!
