Directions Step-By-Step

1
For Pumpkin Masque:
Pumpkin helps fight the dry winter air with Vitamins A and C, as well as zinc and beneficial alpha-hydroxy acids.
Combine all the ingredients together in a blender or with a wooden spoon. Apply a thick layer all over your face, being careful to avoid the eyes and mouth. Keep it on your face for about 10 minutes and then gently remove with a wash cloth and warm soapy water. Apply the appropriate moisturizer for your skin type.

OPTIONAL INFO:
For Dry Skin
one-quarter teaspoon heavy whipping cream (moisturizing; alpha hydroxy acid)
-or-
one-half teaspoon brown sugar (exfoliates, moisturizes, alpha hydroxyl acid)

For Oily Skin
one-quarter teaspoon apple cider (tonic action promotes skin circulation; alpha hydroxyl acid; regulates pH).
-or-
one-quarter teaspoon cranberry juice (high in antioxidants critically important to the utilization of essential fatty acids to maintain balanced, nourished skin.

Homemade Cranberry Lip Gloss:
Cranberries add a hint of holiday color and they moisturize your lips all the way down to the cellular level.
Heat in a water bath until the mixture begins to boil.
Stir gently to mash berries and let sit for five minutes.
Strain the mixture through a fine sieve.
3
DIY Pomegranate Body Scrub:
The rough seeds and potent dose of antioxidants are also good for exfoliating dry winter skin and bringing smooth, younger looking skin to the surface.
Combine mixture completely by starting with an oil base, add raw sugar, and honey for added exfoliation and moisture. Add fragrance with orange peel and of course, a good dose of pomegranate seeds.
Apply to your skin with a wash cloth or luffa. Gently scrub your face and then rinse with warm water
4
Cinnamon and Nutmeg Acne Masque:
Nutmeg has anti-inflammatory qualities so it helps to calm flare-ups as well as reduce redness of acne scars. Cinnamon is a natural exfoliant as well and it's also known for its antiseptic qualities.
Combine into a thick paste. Apply to your face for half an hour and then rinse off with warm water. Moisturize as per usual afterwards
5
Potato Under Eye Soothers:
Got a few leftover potato slices from those tasty mashed potatoes? Similar to cucumbers, you can soothe dark, under-eye circles, by wrapping a slice of potato in a sterilized gauze or a thin cloth and placing it on dark circles for a few minutes a day.
