Non-Toxic Weed Killer

Kimmi Knippel (Sweet_Memories) Recipe

By Kimmi Knippel (Sweet_Memories) KimmiK

The Dawn dish soap strips the weed of its protective oils so the vinegar can work with deadly force.

Safe to use a yard used by kids & pets.

1/2 gallon for around $6.40 & works better than Round Up - kills weeds on 1st application.

I had tried the other recipe of 2 cups white vinegar, 1Tbsp. salt, and 1 Tbsp. dawn liquid, and it worked on some weeds, but not others. I sprayed all weeds not just dandelions. Maybe that White vinegar recipe wasn't strong enough???? Any thoughts? I had purchased over 4 gallons of white vinegar and sprayed the heck out of my Mom's lawn and I really don't see the results I was hoping to see.

Would this affect my garden at all? Want the weeds gone but don't want to kill my garden. Also, what about grass, does it kill grass or just weeds?

Unfortunately, I haven't tried it out close to grass or flowers....
