Well, we turkeyed everything but tonight even my picky husband was thrilled with this. But hey, he likes cafeteria food;)

Ingredients

1 medium
onion, chopped finely
3/4 c
flour
3/4 c
cranberries, dried
2 Tbsp
curry powder
2 can(s)
chicken broth
2 Tbsp
lemon juice, fresh
1/4 c
butter flavor shortening
3 c
cooked turkey
3/4 tsp
garlic, minced
2 tsp
blanched slivered almonds

Directions Step-By-Step

Melt shortening, (any walnut, olive oil, butter, 'whatever'), in large skillet. Add onion and garlic, saute until onion is transparent.

Add flour and stir until very thick, (add more flour as necessary); then gradually add broth stirring until smooth.

Add curry, cranberries, and turkey, stirring until thickened to desired consistency.

Lastly, add lemon juice. Serve over toasted bread, rice, 'whatever'. Top each serving with almonds. Serve piping hot.
