I think my grandmother Lillian got this recipe from Aunt Esther.It is a good way to use up leftover turkey.

Ingredients

1or2 c
cooked turkey
1 can(s)
peas, canned and drained( reserve liquid)
1/4 c
pimento (small jar)
1 Tbsp
parsley
1 Tbsp
onion chopped
1/4 c
butter, cold
6 Tbsp
flour
1 c
reserved canned pea liquid and milk( to make 1cup
2
beaten egg yolks
2 c
sour cream
dash(es)
salt and pepper
dash(es)
nutmeg
toast points or toast
IN SAUCEPAN

Directions

Melt Butter, add onion and cook until transparent. remove from fire (heat)add flour, seasoning, liquid and thicken by low heat. add eggs and beat in sour cream. add parsley,pimento,peas, and turkey cook for 3to 5 minutes on low heat. serve on toast.
