Ingredients For roasted turkey tony chachere style

1turkey, whole (12 - 14 lbs.), fresh or frozen, thawed

1 Tbspvegetable oil

2 Tbsprubbed sage

1 Tbspseasoning salt
-
2 tsppaprika
-
1 1/2 tspgarlic powder
-
1 tspblack pepper
-
1 bottletony chachere injectable creole-style butter marinade
How To Make roasted turkey tony chachere style

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Rinse turkey & pat dry. TAKE OUT NECK & GIBLET BAG!!!!

3Mixing seasonings (through black pepper). Sprinkle 1 Tbsp seasoing inside turkey cavity.

4TO PREPARE COOKING BAG: Place 2 Tbsp flour inside bag, twist & shake bag to distribute flour. Open bag & place turkey inside bag inside roasting pan & V-rack.

5Brush turkey with oil. Spread remaining seasoning mixture over entire outside turkey skin.

6Shake up Tony Chachere Injectable Creole-Style Butter Marinade. Inject butter in assorted areas of turkey, using all of the marinade. When done, tie off bag (included) & cut 6 slits in bag (for ventaltion).

7Roast turkey according to directions on Reynold's Cooking Bag pamplet (inside box). Enjoy!
