My family loves this. They said they wished I had thought of this years ago. Complete turkey dinner in one croquet. Simply delicious!

If you have a bit of this and a bit of that leftover from your holiday meal, reinvent them and make these holiday croquets. Not only are they easy to make, but they are also delicious. Stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and turkey meat are formed into a patty and then fried. Once fried golden brown, the crispy outer shell is a lovely contrast to the warm, soft center. Drizzle with turkey gravy when serving for a tasty lunch or snack.

Ingredients For holiday croquet

  • 3 c
    homemade bread stuffing
  • 1/2 c
    mashed potatoes, I prefer Peruvian purple potatoes; any mashed will do
  • 1/4 can
    cranberry sauce
  • 1 c
    turkey meat
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 c
    plain Panko crumbs
  • 1 jar
    turkey gravy (12 oz)

How To Make holiday croquet

  • Stuffing, potato, cranberry sauce, turkey, egg, salt, and pepper in a  bowl.

    Mix the stuffing, mashed potato, cranberry sauce, turkey, egg, salt, and pepper.
  • Patties coated in Panko crumbs and frying.

    Shape mixture into patties. Place patties into crumbs on both sides. Fry in oil until golden brown and hot.
  • A platter of Holiday Croquets drizzled with gravy.

    Serve with turkey gravy.
