Ingredients

1 lb
fresh asparagus or 1 (10 oz) frozen asparagus spears, cooked and drained. i buy the frozen
12 oz
sliced ham, your choice..i use virginia baked
12 oz
thinly sliced turkey
6 oz
sliced swiss cheese
8
croissants, split

CURRY SAUCE

1/4 c
butter or margarine
2 Tbsp
flour
1/2 tsp
curry powder
1/4 tsp
salt
1 1/2 c
half - n - half
1/4 c
realemon lemon juice from concentrate

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350 degree

Arrange equal ammounts of asparagus, ham, turkey and cheese on bottom half of each croissant.

Place top halves of croissants on cheese.

Bake on a sheet pan 15 minutes or until hot.

Meanwhile, make curry sauce.

In a small saucepan, melt 1/4 cup of butter, stir in 2 tablespoons of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder and 1/4 tsp salt.

Gradually add 1 1/2 cups of half n half; over medium heat, cook and stir until thickened, about five minutes.

Remove from heat, slowly stir in 1/4 cup lemon juice from concentrate.

Spoon sauce over croissants, garnish with paprika if desired.
