olive oil, extra virgin, for brushing
tomato sauce, your favorite (i make my own)
cheese, your choice (i’m using mozzarella, provolone, and cheddar)
toppings, your choice (pepperoni, sausage, ham, veggies)
2Gather your ingredients.
3Place a rack in the bottom position, and preheat the oven to 400f (205c).
4Place a rack inside of a rimmed baking sheet.
5Brush the flour tortillas with olive oil on both sides.
7Place into the preheated oven for 6 minutes.
8Chef’s Tip: They should begin to brown, but not be cracker crispy.
9Reduce the heat on the oven to 325f (165c).
10Lay one of the tortillas on a clean work surface, and add a bit of tomato sauce.
11Add some protein, (I’m using crumbled Italian sausage).
12Add some cheese (I’m using provolone).
13Add another flour tortilla, and add some tomato sauce.
14Add a protein, and some cheese (I like to vary the cheeses).
15Chef's Note: Repeat for the last layer.
16Add the top flour tortilla, brush on some tomato sauce, and top with cheese.
17Pop into the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until the cheese is nice and bubbly.
18Chef’s Tip: I put the pizza under the broiler for a few minutes, just to brown up the top.
20Carefully cut into wedge-shape slices, and serve while still nice and warm. Enjoy.
