This dish was handed down to me by one of my great Aunts. She used to laugh and say it was a real "man pleaser"! LOL! Oddly enough, I prepared it for my not yet then husband Kenny. He will tell you it's the dish that made him fall in love with me. LOL!

Ingredients For sweet hospitality pork chops

  • 1 lg
    onion
  • 1/2 cup c
    dark molasses
  • 4
    pork chops, center cut
  • slap ya mama seasoning
  • salt and pepper

How To Make sweet hospitality pork chops

    Season and lightly brown pork chops on both sides in skillet.

    While pork chops are browning, slice onion to desired thickness and salt and pepper to taste.

    Remove pork chops from skillet and place in covered baking dish. Pour molasses on top of chops. Cover with sliced onions. Bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours or until tender and moist. Remove from over and let rest for 3-5 minutes. Enjoy!
