Ingredients For sweet and sour pork chops

  • 6
    boneless pork loin chops (4oz ea)
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1/3 c
    cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp
    cold water

How To Make sweet and sour pork chops

    Sprinkle pepper on pork chops in a large non-stick skillet coated with cooking spray;cook pork over medium heat for 4-6 minutes on each side or until lightly browned....remove from heat and keep warm.

    Add the water(1/2C),vinegar,brown sugar,soy sauce & worcestershire sauce to the skillet;stir to loosen browned bits.Bring to a boil.Combine cornstarch & cold water until smooth;stir into skillet. bring to a boil;cook & stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.

    Return chops to skillet.Reduce heat;cover & simmer for 4-5 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 160.
