Ingredients For sour cream pork chops w/ vidalia onion gravy

  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 4 - 2
    thick pork chops, boneless or boneless & skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 lg
    vidalia onions, seperated into rings
  • 1 can
    beef broth, reduced sodium
  • 1 Tbsp
    parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    paprika
  • 1 tsp
    yellow mustard
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt & pepper
  • 8 oz
    sour cream, lite
  • brown rice, cooked & hot
  • GARNISH:
  • parsley, chopped

How To Make sour cream pork chops w/ vidalia onion gravy

    In a large skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. Add chops & cook 4 - 5 minutes per side. Place onion evenly over chops.

    In a small bowl, combine broth, parsley, paprika, mustard, salt & pepper; mix well. Pour broth mixture over chops. Return to boil. Reduce het to medium & simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in sour cream until blended & cook 4 - 5 minutes. (DO NOT BOIL)
