I fixed this recipe for the first time for part of our Easter dinner. It was so easy and went over well.

Place the pork tenderloin in a slow cooker; pour the root beer over the meat. Cover and cook on low until well cooked and the pork shreds easily, 6 to 7 hours. Note: the actual length of time may vary according to individual slow cooker. Drain well. Stir in barbecue sauce. Serve over hamburger buns or in whatever manner you like.
This is so easy and the pork loin pulls apart so easily when cook desired amount of time.

I have made this in the oven using coca I'm going to have to try root beer and my slow cooker!!!

can you use pork loin, or do you have to use tenderloin/

whcih ever you want should work. I see no reason that it has to be tender loin.
