Savory Oven Barbequed Spare Ribs

This is a family and friend favorite. The meat falls right off the bone. It is finger licken good. Enjoy!

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
ketchup
3-5 lb
pork ribs - any type (i use baby back)
4 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
4 Tbsp
soy sauce
4 Tbsp
red wine vinegar
1 1/2 c
brown sugar
1/3 c
water
flour to coat ribs
1
green pepper (diced)
1 can(s)
pineapple tidbits or 1/2 20 oz. can chopped pineapple

Step-By-Step

1Place all ingredients (except ribs) into a large heavy sauce pan and bring to a boil - stirring occassionally. (Cook until all ingredients are well blended.)

2Sprinkle the ribs with the flour.

3Place ribs in a large baking pan.

4Pour sauce over ribs and cover pan with aluminum foil.

5Bake ribs at 300 degrees for 3 - 3 1/2 hours.

6Skim fat off of sauce before serving. (I cut the ribs into 4-rib pieces.)
