Simple recipe -- but, it's oh-so-good! Also goes well with breakfast-for-supper meals. There's an updated version on www.tastefullysimple.com (it wouldn't let me pinch it, though), by simply adding 2 tsp of their dried onion, and a tsp of their dried garlic. In other words, it might be work exploring alternate spicing! Oh, and they dropped off 1/2 the sausage.

Ingredients For sausage bread

  • 1 box
    beer bread mix
  • 12 oz
    beer
  • 1 lb
    italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 c
    romano or parmesan, shredded
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make sausage bread

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 375*F.
  • 2
    Combine beer bread mix and beer, as directed on the package. Fold in sausage and cheese.

    Place in greased loaf pan and top with butter. Bake 55 minutes or until golden brown.

    Dip into your favorite spaghetti sauce.
