This is my adaptation of my former neighbor Mr. Chin's marinated pork. It smelled so go when he cooked it I almost wanted to climb the fence and join him for dinner. He cooked the pork on the grill but I do mine in the oven.

Ingredients For pork tenderloin

  • 2
    pork tenderloins 3/4 lb. each
  • 1/3 c
    low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 c
    vinrgar
  • 1/4 c
    sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder

How To Make pork tenderloin

  • 1
    In a bowl, whisk together all ingredients except the tenderloins.

    Reserve 1/4 c. of the marinade. Refrigerate covered.

    Place the remaining marinade in a large zipper bag.
  • 4
    Add the tenderloins. Seal the bag. Turn to coat.
  • 5
    Place the bag in the refrigerator. Let marinate at least 8 hours or overnight. Turn occasionally.

    When ready to cook, preheat the oven to 450 degrees.

    Discard the marinade the meat was in. Place the tenderloins in a shallow baking dish.

    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until done. Use the set aside marinade to baste the meat while it cooks.

    Let stand for 5 minutes before slicing.
