How To Make pork chops w/ butter herb sauce

  • 1
GARLIC HERB BUTTER: Beat all ingredients together with a fork until light & fluffy. Wrap into plastic wrap & roll into a log. Twist ends of plastic wrap to "seal" butter (kind of like a piece of candy). Store in freezer, at least 30 minutes or until ready to use.
  • 2
In a large bowl, add water & cut leek in 1/2 lengthwise & let soak, 30 minutes, swishing often. (This will get rid of the grit & sand that can inbed into the leek). After done soaking, dry & slice (white part only) thinly.
  • 3
Preheat large saute pan on medium high. Season chops the salt & pepper. Add oil to pan, add chops; cook 2 - 3 minutes per side or until browned. Remove from pan.
  • 4
Add mushrooms & leek to same pan; cook 4 minutes. Reduce heat to low; stir in wine & herbs.
  • 5
Return chops to pan; simmer 3 - 4 minutes or until wine has reduced by about 1/2.
  • 6
Remove pan from heat; transfer chops to serving plates & top with cheese. Whisk butter into sauce until melted & blended. Serve sauce over chops.
