Ingredients

16-oz. each sauerkraut, drained
1 Tbsp
caraway seed
2 medium
onions, halved

tart green apples, peeled and cut in wedges
1/2 c
brown sugar, packed
2 lb
spareribs

Step-By-Step

1In a dutch oven, layer all ingredients in order listed. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered 2-3 hours or until the ribs are tender. Makes 6 servings.
