lemon-spiced pork chops

I came up w/ this easy dish one night when I wanteed something w/ a little spice in it. It's great served w/ rice.

Ingredients For lemon-spiced pork chops

  • 2 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 4
    pork loin chops, boneless, 1/2"-thick
  • 1/2 c
    lemon juice
  • 3 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    paprika
  • 1 tsp
    dried thyme
  • 1 tsp
    cayenne pepper, or you can use cajun pepper

How To Make lemon-spiced pork chops

    Heat oil in lg skillet, over medium heat. Brown chops for 5 mins each side.

    In bowl, whisk together lemon juice, garlic, paprika, thyme and cayenne pepper. Add sauce to skillet, w/ chops. Cover, simmer 20 mins.

    Remove chops from skillet. Over high heat, reduce remaining liquid for 5 min. Return chops to skillet, coating both sides of chops w/ the sauce.
