I was remembering a scene in Pulp Fiction where Jules goes off about this Kahuna Burger. Went to look up on line and found out it didn't come from a real restaurant. :( NO WORRIES! Found a few recipes, saw they all seemed to have teriyaki sauce and pineapple in common, so I started from there. Seriously, don't let the banana scare you. It's awesome!

How To Make kahuna burger (seriously, the best!)

Combine all ingredients (except for the buns of course!). HINT: MAKE SURE the banana is completely mashed - the idea is NOT to have big chunks of nanner in your burger! Combine well. The mixture will be very moist, this is good! I like these burgers very thin - no worries about drying them out because they're thin, though - juiciest burger ever. Cook on a flat top griddle/grill, or in a pan on the stove (I don't recommend grilling these). When well browned on the first side, spray some water around each burger on the griddle, and cover them with a lid/pan/etc... for just a couple of minutes. Then, uncover and flip to finish cooking. The burgers should have a beautiful caramelization on them from the banana and brown sugar, but worry not! The garlic and soy sauce should keep it savory!

Have your friends/sig other/kids slice the cukes, etc... I put out one plate with all the condiments on it, and pass it around at the table. My favorite way? Bun, burger, special sauce, bacon, cucumbers, banana peppers, guacamole, sliced red onion, tomato, lettuce, and french fried onion! Followed by other half of bun :)
