Ingredients For hot bacon and cheddar sandwiches

  • 2
    eggs
  • 3 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    bottled hot pepper sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slice
    thick bread, like texas toast bread
  • 6 slice
    cooked canadien bacon
  • 3 oz
    sliced sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 Tbsp
    canola oil

How To Make hot bacon and cheddar sandwiches

    In lg shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt and pepper.

    Layer 2 slices of bread w/ even amounts of bacon and cheese. Top w/ remaining bread. Press down to secure, or use toothpicks to secure.

    Dip each sandwich into egg mix, coating both sides. Heat oil in lg skillet over medium heat. Cook sandwiches about 3 min each side or until browned and cheese is melted.
