Ingredients

2 tsp
vegetable oil
4
pork chops, bone-in
1
red & yellow pepper, coarsely chopped
2 can(s)
fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
1/4 c
catalina dressing
1-1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1-1/2 c
instant white rice, uncooked

Step-By-Step

1In a large nonstick frying pan heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops & cook for about 5 mins on each side or until browned on each side.

2Next add in the remaining ingredients all except the rice & mix well. Bring to a boil.

3Then stir in the rice, cover pan & cook over medium-low heat for abotu 5 mins or until chops are done (160F). Then remove from the heat & let stand for 5 mins.

4Special Tip: You may substitute 4 small boneless skinless chicken breast halves. Just brown on each side for about 5 to 6 mins.
