|4||fresh portabello mushroom caps, gills and stems removed|
|1/2 lb||bulk italian sausage, browned and drained|
|1/2 c||pizza sauce (canned or home made)|
|1/4 c||shredded parmesan cheese|
|4 slice||provelone cheese|
|1/2 tsp||garlic powder|
|olive oil spray|
My husband and I have been eating less refined carbs the last few months and I have had a non-extinguishable craving for pizza. Since my favorite pizza toppings are simply sausage and mushrooms, I decided to come up with a recipe that combined those flavors and resembled pizza without the crust...the result? YUMMEH!!!
