Fresh Pork w/Malta

My friend from Puerto Rico told me that he marinates a fresh pork butt or shoulder overnight before he roasts it. I got the idea of cooking it in the crock pot with a bottle of malta, It tenderizes the meat so well and gives it a wonderful flavor!

Ingredients

6 lb
fresh pork butt or shoulder
1 bottle
malta

Directions Step-By-Step

rub roast with salt, pepper and garlic powder and place in crock pot
Pour one bottle of Malta over roast

Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 5 hours
