Easy Pork Chops and Rice

Mom got this recipe from a soup can in the 1960's. It became a family favorite.

Ingredients

1 can(s)
condensed mushroom soup
1 can(s)
milk (use soup can as measure)
1/2 c
dry minute rice
1 can(s)
button mushrooms, drained, optional

pork chops or pork steaks
pepper to taste

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix soup and milk. Pour into buttered casserole dish. Add rice (and mushrooms if using) and mix slightly. Place pork chops on top, sprinkle them with a little pepper, cover dish with foil and bake at 350 for about 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 10-15 minutes longer until pork is thoroughly cooked.

You probably do not need to add salt as the soup contains salt.
