Easy and Delicious Oven-Barbecued Ribs

- slab of back or st. louis style spare ribs
- bottle of fat free, or lite italian dressing
- bottle of your preferred brand of barbecue sauce
- 1/2 c
- brown sugar, lightly packed
1Line pans with aluminum foil. Put ribs in pan and pour Italian dressing over them. Soak ribs overnight in Italian dressing.
2Drain and wrap ribs in aluminum foil. Bake in oven at 315 degrees for 3-4 hours or until ribs are very tender. Remove ribs from foil-lined pan and transfer to a broiler pan.
3Mix barbecue sauce and brown sugar. Brush ribs on both sides with barbecue sauce. Place under broiler and broil for 5 minutes on each side, until sauce is set. This step can be done on the grill over hot coals if you prefer, and I usually do!
