Ingredients For crockpot bavarian dinner

  • 2 can
    bavarian-style sauerkraut, undrained
  • 2 lb
    polska kielbasa, precooked and cut into 3-inch pieces
  • 1 md
    onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
  • 1 tsp
    chicken bouillon granules
  • 1/4 tsp
    celery seed
  • 1/2 tsp
    caraway seeds
  • 1/2 tsp
    dry mustard

How To Make crockpot bavarian dinner

    In the bottom of a slow cooker, layer 1 can sauerkraut, 1 pound sausage pieces, half the onion slices, 1/2 tsp. bouillon, and half the spices. Repeat layers.

    Cover and cook on low setting for 7 to 9 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours.

    Serve with a green salad and a dish of spiced apples.
