Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound bulk pork sausage, no casing, browned & drained
  • 1/2 pound bacon, cooked crisp & crumbled
  • 1 stick butter
  • 16 ounces mushrooms, fresh, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 -8 oz package pillsbury recipe creations seamless dough sheet or refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 10 x large eggs, beaten
  • 8 ounces heavy cream, cold
  • 8 ounces colby/jack cheese, shredded
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt & pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

How To Make crescent roll casserole

  • Step 1
    Grease 9" X 13" pan. Preheat oven to 350 degreee F.
  • Step 2
    In a large skillet over medium high heat, add butter, mushrooms & onion; cook 12 minutes or until onions are translucent. Let cool 15 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Meanwhile, pinch seams together (if using rolls - not needed for dough sheet) & spread crescent rolls in pan. Bake for 8 minutes.
  • Step 4
    In a large bowl, add cooked meats & vegetables; stir to combine.
  • Step 5
    Sprinkle cooked meats/vegetables mixture evenly on rolls.
  • Step 6
    In another large bowl, add eggs & cream; beat with whisk to combine. Add cheese & seasonings; mix well.
  • Step 7
    Pour egg mixture over meats/vegetables mixture & rolls. Bake for 25 minutes, reduce to 325 & bake for 20 minutes.
