I clipped this recipe out of the newspaper because it sounds so delicious. All my favorite ingredients put together right on the stovetop. No oven to heat up the kitchen and only minutes to prepare.

Ingredients

1 lb
fettuccine noodles
1 pkg
(12 oz.) johnsonville four cheese italian sausage links, sliced into coins
1 Tbsp
olive oil
1 c
frozen mixed vegetables, thawed and drained
1 c
classico light alfredo sauce
1/2 c
chicken stock
1/3 c
parmesan cheese blend, grated
salt and pepper to taste

Directions Step-By-Step

Cook the fettuccine according to the package directions; drain and set aside.

Heat the olive oil in a ten-inch skillet. When hot, add and brown the sausage. Stir in the vegetables, the light Alfredo sauce, and the chicken stock. Bring to a boil and then lower heat to simmer.

Add the cooked pasta to the mixture. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve hot.
