- lean ground beef
- 1/4 lb
- ground, hot italian sausage
- 2 can(s)
- kidney beans in sauce
- 6 oz
- tomato paste, with italian herbs
- 16 oz
- tomato sauce
- 1 pkg
- taco seasoning mix, or 2 packages depending on taste
1Brown ground beef and sausage in large skillet on medium to high heat. Drain fat.
2Combine kidney beans, tomato paste, tomato sauce and taco seasoning (I like to use hot taco seasoning - but you can use any kind) into a crock pot. Turn knob to desired setting.
3Add beef and sausage to crock pot. Combine thoroughly.
4Heat until bubbling. I usually set mine on high for approximately 2-3 hours. Since beef and sausage are already cooked, just heat and serve!
