Ingredients For cheesy sausage balls

1 1/2 call purpose flour
-
1 tspbaking powder
-
1/4 tspsalt & pepper
-
1/8 tspcayenne pepper
-
2 Tbspbutter, unsalted, cut into 1/2" pieces
-
8 ozbulk pork breakfast sausage
-
1 ccheddar cheese, shredded
-
3/4 cbuttermilk
How To Make cheesy sausage balls

1Adjust over rack to middle position & preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

2Line rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Pulse flour, baking powder, salt & peppers in a food processor until combined, about 3 pulses. Add butter & pulse until coarse meal like, about 12 pulses. Add sausage & cheese & pulse until combined, about 8 pulses. Transfer mixture to a bowl & stir in buttermilk until combined.

3Using a small ice cream scooper, a ball dough at a time into 1 1/4" balls & place, evenly spaced, on the baking sheet. Bake 20 - 22 minutes or until golden brown, rotating sheet half way through baking time.

4Transfer sheet to wire rack & cool for 5 minutes. Serve warm.
