Breakfast Pita Reduced Carb

1Depending on the size of your pita you can get 3 or 4 out of 1 lb sausage. This one is an 8" pita so I got 3. They also make 6" pita bread.
2Shape sausage into half moon shape patties and cook till done.
3Cut top 1/3 of pita bread off. Insert hand into pita to make sure it doesn't stick together while toasting. I like to toast mine on a cast iron comal or griddle.
4Once patty is done insert it into pita, add cheese on one side pico on the other, enjoy!!
