This recipe was introduced to me by my best friend, who's mother showed her how to make it.I have never been a fan of ham but after having this ham I was hooked. As the blanket hardens around the ham it traps all of the juices inside and all of the spices in the blanket penetrate the ham, making it not only explode with flavor, but extremely tender.
