Ingredients For beer -brined grilled pork chops with glaze

    water
  • 2 c
    dark lager beer
  • 1/4 c
    coarse sea salt
  • 3 Tbsp
    (packed)dark brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    mild-flavored light molasses
  • 6
    1 1/4 inch thick center cut-bone in pork chop
  • 5 clove
    garlic
  • 3 tsp
    coarsly fresh gound black pepper
  • 2 tsp
    sea salt
  • 2 tsp
    ground sage
  • FOR GLAZE
  • 1/2 c
    jack daniel's
  • 1/2 c
    apple cider
  • 2 Tbsp
    packed brown sugar
  • 4 tsp
    cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp
    cayenne pepper

How To Make beer -brined grilled pork chops with glaze

    Combine water, beer, 1/4 cup of coarse salt, brown sugar and molasses in large bowl. Stir until slat and sugar dissolve. Place pork chop in large reseal able plastic bag. Pour beer brine over pork chops,seal bag. Refrigerator 6 hours. Turning your bag often.

    prepare your grill. Remove chops from brine; pat dry, Mix garlic, pepper,2 teaspoon of salt, and sage in small bowl. Grill chops until they register 145 degree about 10 minutes per side.

    For Glaze: Whisk Jack Daniels, Cider, sugar, 2 teaspoon vinegar, mustard, vanilla, and cayenne together pour glaze mixture to a skillet and bring to boil, cook until reduced to thick glazed. 3 to 5 minutes.
