We always had our choice of what we wanted for our birthday dinner and these ribs were always my choice every year.

Ingredients

4 lb
ribs
2 Tbsp
butter or drippings
1 medium
onion, minced
2 Tbsp
vinegar
4 Tbsp
lemon juice
2 Tbsp
brown sugar
1/8 tsp
cayene pepper
1 c
ketchup
3 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1/2 Tbsp
ground mustard
1 c
water
1/2 c
celery chopped
2 Tbsp
fat

Step-By-Step

1Brown ribs in fat in large skillet. When ribs are brown, transfer to roasting pan. Roast for 2 hours at 350.
2Just before ribs are done, melt butter in a skillet and brown onion. Add remaining ingredients. When hot, pour over ribs and roast in oven another 15 min or until desired thickness is reached.
