This is such an easy rub/marinade and would be great on any type of pork or chicken. There is no need for BBQ sauce with this rub!

Ingredients

**pork or chicken
**fiesta pinto bean seasoning
**brown sugar

Step-By-Step

Step 1 Direction Photo

1Mix half pinto bean seasoning and half brown sugar. I rubbed about 4 lbs of ribs and used close to a cup of each. Rub both sides of your protein, wrap in foil and let sit over night.

2We normally smoke our meats with mesquite, we're in West Texas, so it's free!! Most authorities say you should cook pork to a internal temp between 145-165. If you don't have a cut that allows you to take it's temp, your pork should pull apart easily without having to use a knife.

3I smoked these around 250° for about 4 hours.
