Ingredients

1 lb
pork sausage
1/2 c
onions chopped
1/2 c
uncooked rice
2 Tbsp
sugar
1 1/2 c
( about 4 med ) pototoes sliced
1 c
sliced raw carrots
1 1/2 c
canned tomatoes
salt and pepper to taste.

Step-By-Step

1In place of pork sausage Beef,or Italian sauasge can be used.

2partly cook sausage, breaking up into small pieces, and drain well.

3place sausage in a casserole dish and layer with rice, potatoes, onion, carrots, add tomatoes with juice.

4combine salt, pepper, and sugar, and sprinkle over the top of vegatables. cover dish and bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours.
