Summer Vegetable Pasta Sauce

I start this sauce and then put on the water for the pasta. By the time the pasta is ready the sauce is too.

Ingredients

1 stick
butter
1 tsp
red pepper flakes
1 medium
onion
1 clove
garlic
15 oz
tomato sauce
28 oz
diced tomatos
1 small
zucchini
1 small
yellow squash
1 medium
green bell pepper
8 oz
mushrooms, fresh
1-3 tsp
tuscany blend sundried tomato and basil spice blend (to taste)

Step-By-Step

1In a medium saucepan, melt the butter, then saute the red pepper flakes, onion, and garlic briefly.

2Add the other ingredients and simmer until the vegetables are tender and the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
